I have been a long-time fan of Logitech mice due to their exceptional ergonomic design. I have used a track-ball mouse (one you spin with your thumb) on my home computer for years. I used to use the mouse a lot for a marketing job, to the point where my index (clicking) finger was developing carpal-tunnel. Logitech's track ball mouse made a HUGE difference for me. No more funky-feeling click finger! At any rate, for my new laptop, however, I wanted the same comfort level, and did not want to rely on my track pad all the time. While not a trackball, this mouse fit the bill perfectly. It it super comfortable to use and came with its own cloth draw-string pouch -perfect for traveling. It also has a "side scroll" where you can push the roller wheel to either side -nice! The Bluetooth connection also worked seamlessly with my Toshiba NB205 notebook; no glitches at all for me there. It also comes with an installation CD, but I did not need it for the mouse to work on my system.
