I bought this product to replace a Logitech V270 bluetooth mouse. I was having problems maintaining connectivity with the V270 and reconnecting using the Logitech software was inconsistent. I found the V470 to be able to connect without the Logitech software using the bluetooth utility on my Dell XPSM1210 laptop, and the connection is more stable than was the V270. I have only 2 complaints with this purchase. The logitech software that came with the V470 mouse was older than the software that came with the V270. Furthermore, for some reason the software will not install on my laptop (perhaps because it is older?). All I can say is it is a good thing the Logitech software is not necessary (although I am unable to use some of the functions of the mouse because of this, but I don't care about those functions anyway). My second complaint is that occasionally the mouse is unresponsive or responds in an anomalous manner. Otherwise, I very much like that I don't have to use a USB port in order to use this mouse with my laptop and am overall pleased with the purchase.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).
