After much consideration I purchased this mouse to use with my MacBook Pro. On its arrival, I put in the batteries, turned it on, told the Mac to "find" the device, and that was that. It has worked flawlessly. It has a nice weight, enough to feel, but not heavy. It has used 2 sets of batteries in about 14 months.
