Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue) Top Quality

I'm using this mouse with Windows vista.

The Logitech V470 sleeps way too fast, making casual browsing (where you pause for 10 seconds or so e.g. reading a 3 sentence review of an item) and when you want to move the mouse again it "jumps" and lags because the mouse is waking from its sleep. I find it really irritating that I paid around $50 for a mouse that shows lag. (It may save power, but they should have made the sleep time either adjustable or longer)

The second problem I experienced is the DPI (think of it as a gauge to measure how accurate the mouse is when moving it around). First of all, no where online was i able to find the DPI of this mouse. The fact that Logitech fails to mention the DPI specification of this mouse makes me wonder why. I noticed that this mouse is not very accurate, and when compared to a 5-dollar cheap wired optical mouse, the 5-dollar mouse performed WAY better in accuracy. The V470 makes me feel like I'm using a very old mouse that used the tracking ball with lots of dust stuck inside. If a 5-dollar cheap optical mouse feels more accurate than this mouse (not taking lag into consideration), then there is some serious shortcomings in the V470.

I would not recommend this mouse at all. The only advantage is that it is wireless, but everything else falls below the poor performance level. I mainly use the mouse for internet browsing and I still find it irritating with lag and lack of accuracy. I would suggest searching for other alternatives.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).
