I bought this for my wife, who has killed two wired mice pinching the cord under reams of clutter. It could be a tad small for those with bear paws for hands, but it's not one of those stupid mice the size of a Hot Wheels car. Uses two AA batteries.
Turned on the Bluetooth on my wife's Mac Mini, the mouse paired up effortlessly, and hasn't skipped a beat. I didn't bother installing the Logitech software. The tilt wheel scrolls docs/pages side-to-side under OS X 10.5.2, and everything else works as expected.
