This is the first mouse I've tried other than Microsoft mice (I owned about 7 of them) and I am almost totally disappointed with it. BT connection was easy with Vista. The feel of the mouse was fine but to me the clicks are a little too loud, since I use the mouse in a class environment, I like it quiter but it's not a dealbreaker. However, I read reviews about re-connecting after inactivity for 10 secs, well in my case it only took 5 secs for the mouse to go in sleep mode and it requires a fraction of a second to wake up. I am used to RF mice and to me 5 secs seemed too annoying, especially if you move your mouse quickly for it to wake up, you'll notice the jump, everytime! Couldn't stand it. I only have 3 USB ports on XPS 1530 so I tried to avoid RF transmitters but I might need to. I am not sure if it's a flaw of Logitech or the BT technology requires that jump (any comments?).
