Order Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue)

I've had this mouse over a month now and no complaints. It works like a mouse should and does not have that stick plugged in to a USB port on the back of my computer like other wireless mice do. It is very accurate and also doesn't have the red laser light on the bottom.

The drawbacks if any are: 1: It seems to hesitate a second when you haven't used it for awhile. Kind of like it went to sleep and when you move it, it has to wake up. 2. I also run Sun Solaris and it will not work with that operating system. I believe that is a Solaris thing more than a mouse thing. Lack of driver...

Over all I like it; it has a good feel, and shape. It is small without being to small. I would buy it again.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

I bought this mouse for my wife's laptop. It works great on any surface. Very high precision as well. It is also very comfortable, Not too big and not too small. Occasionally we have had to redetect the driver for it on the laptop when booting back up from a shutdown running Windows Vista Home Premium for it to be detected again, but it has only happend 2 times. This mouse is a great form factor, tracks really well and overall would be awesome except the SetPoint software does not work with Vista contrary to what their website says. I've just spent that past two hours trying to figure out why Vista kept hanging when I would reboot. Finally I decided to check out the Logitech forums and found that SetPoint could have been causing the problems. Sure enough, uninstalling it made my laptop start behaving. I know Vista isn't great but Logitech has obviously known about this problem for a while and yet they're not fixing it. Sending mine back.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue)

This is a fantastic little mouse. After reading the reviews for Apple's mouse with the trackball and this one, I chose this one and am definitely happy. The battery life is fantastic (I have yet to replace them after over a month), the sensitivity is good, setup was really easy on my MacBook, feels great in my hand, solid clicking feel, nice & compact to take with you on the road, just a great mouse. My only caveat is that the side scrolling isn't all the sensitive - for me it doesn't matter since I'm working with office documents, but I can see if you were doing graphic design or something where moving in multiple directions was important how a trackball would be better.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue) Review

This mouse was instantly recognized by my MacBook. Didn't really need the drivers, but I installed anyway to get more configuration choices. Had to download from the Logitech website, since only the PC drivers came in the box. Tracking is very good. The only thing I would change is the lag time when the mouse goes to sleep. It can be annoying sometimes. When the mouse goes to sleep, you have to wake it by clicking a button and waiting about 1 second for it to reconnect. All that said, I've gotten used to it and like the mouse overall. Bluetooth rocks! Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue) Top Quality

Finally got tired of dealing with the "sticky" scroll ball issues in the Apple mighty mouse and decided to replace it. The Logitech V470 has worked perfectly from the start. Insert batteries, turn it on and that's it. No installation problems with CD's, it's wireless, has bluetooth connectivity, what's not to like?

Try it you won't be disappointed.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue) This instant

I love this mouse. It is a simple, no frills bluetooth mouse that works flawlessly.

I got tired of having to plug in the wireless dongle into my computer everytime I wanted to use my mouse, so I began a search for a bluetooth model.

People told me I would hate the lag time between startup of my computer and having the mouse work. It is 5 seconds at most.. no big deal at all. When left sitting, it may take a fraction of a second for the mouse to respond but again, no big deal, especially for not needing the dongle.

The buttons work great and I love the slight resistance of the wheel.. it is the best I have ever used.

In conclusion, don't hesitate to purchase this bluetooth mouse. You will not regret it.

I bought this mouse to use on my 2008 Macbook Pro. Syncing it with my laptop took less than 5 minutes, and it has been smooth sailing ever since. I only use it really when I am using VMWare Fusion or playing games, but it has never let me down. Never a dropped signal and the battery life is impressive.

If you have a Mac and want a portable and reliable mouse, definitely this is your best choice. Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

I got this mouse for my wife to use with her iMac. For some reason, the iMac often does not recognize the mouse. I don't know whether it's the fault of the iMac or the mouse. The mouse works fine with my MacBook.

My only other complaint is that I wish that this mouse had the two extra programmable buttons, like the Logitech LX7 has. When I'm using this mouse, I'm not using a full-size keyboard, and I miss having a really quick way to scroll up and down a full page in any application. Of course, I can hit fn-uparrow and fn-downarrow on the Apple keyboards, but I'd rather be able to scroll up and down a page with one button. Not a big deal, really, and I'm happy with how this mouse works with my MacBook.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

I've had multiple bluetooth mice, most of them notebook or travel mice. This outperforms the Microsoft versions by far. It is sturdy and has a good feel in the hand. The mouse is very responsive, smooth, and has an on/off button. The size is just about right and the weight gives it a good feel in the hand. Connection setup was a breeze initially and I've never had any disconnection problems since. Highly recommended!

I have owned this mouse for almost a year and it's still working like a charm. Battery life is awesome. I never have trouble connecting with bluetooth. I turn the mouse on and within seconds, my laptop picks it up and I'm able to use it. I take it with me all the time for travel use and I even use it at home when not at my desk. The only downside is that it doesn't have a backward/forward button. I'm willing to skip the extra buttons though, because the quality, responsiveness, and connectivity of the V470 beats the competition.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Its been a month since i bought and received my V470. I bought it because i had malfunction on my previous bluetooth mouse, it needed new batteries every 2 days. This one on the other hand, is still running on the batteries it came with;i use it 24/7 and never turn it off. The battery life indicator on the top hasnt gone on yet, so i suppose it has about 5 more days of battery life left. The side scrolling its useful in games, browsing, and any other activity you can imagine, the buttons are customizable and its response time is great. Its also a laser mouse and not an optical, witch means that it has great precision on very odd surfaces.

Pros: Price, response time, usefulness, 6 buttons, BATTERY LIFE of over a month, small, stylish, battery life indicator, Cleans easily.

Cons: Kind of unbalanced on its back, white mouse gets dirty in heavy use. Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue) Decide Now

What concerns me the most whenever I use a bluetooth device for the first time is the reliability of the connection... This mouse works smoothly and flawlessly with my Broadcom 2045 built-in bluetooth module running with WIDCOMM 5.1.0.4200 software. Best of all, when I turn the mouse on it connects spontaneously in a second, and when my laptop wakes up from from standby it does the same thing with no intervention, and during operation there are no interruptions at all... To me, this is almost as reliable as wired USB. The rest of the feature are also great: looks good, well-built, right size and contour, works fine on all surfaces I tried it on, and I like the pouch. I've never been disappointed by a Logitech product. Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Great for small hands. It does lose connectivity once in a while. If you have a computer without bluetooth it is easy to configure, even on a windows machine. It will also work with Mac OS X. The Logitech V470 was easy to install and looks and feels great, but it has a mind of its own sometimes. I know it can get interference from other wireless gadgets, but who doesn't have other wireless gadgets for their computer? Drives me crazy sometimes trying to get pointer to go where i want.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

This is the first mouse I've tried other than Microsoft mice (I owned about 7 of them) and I am almost totally disappointed with it. BT connection was easy with Vista. The feel of the mouse was fine but to me the clicks are a little too loud, since I use the mouse in a class environment, I like it quiter but it's not a dealbreaker. However, I read reviews about re-connecting after inactivity for 10 secs, well in my case it only took 5 secs for the mouse to go in sleep mode and it requires a fraction of a second to wake up. I am used to RF mice and to me 5 secs seemed too annoying, especially if you move your mouse quickly for it to wake up, you'll notice the jump, everytime! Couldn't stand it. I only have 3 USB ports on XPS 1530 so I tried to avoid RF transmitters but I might need to. I am not sure if it's a flaw of Logitech or the BT technology requires that jump (any comments?). Cheap Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue)

I bought this bluetooth mouse to use with my new Sony Vaio laptop which has the integrated bluetooth connectivity. The mouse looks nice in style and feels good in hand. Connection to the laptop via bluetooth directly was made quite easily. However, the movement of the pointer seems to lag significantly and not so smoothly, as compared to other regular wireless mouses I have used. I have tried to do some parameter adjustments in the logitech software, but it just doesn't work as well as I would expect for the normal use of mouse after all. In fact, the performance was so poor and beyone my tolerence. To me, the performance should not be sacrificed for the convenience of easy connection (i.e. direct bluetooth connection with no need for a wireless adapter). I am wondering if the poor performance may be related to the limitation of bluetooth connectivity for such application, especially when you have turned on the 2.4GHz wireless internet connection (according to my laptop, they may have inteference between each other). But I also tried to use the mouse with 2.4Ghz wireless turned off, the performance was not really improved much. I had to return this mouse to Amazon.com. I still love all logitech products, and I bought a VX Nano as the replacement.Get more detail about Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue).

Buying Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Blue)

I originally purchased a cheap $20 mouse from amazon, which worked fairly well until it broke on me less than a year later. So this time I decided to invest a little more money and purchase a mouse with higher quality. This mouse is perfect for my white MacBook due to its sleek looks, glossy white cover, and bluetooth capability. Some reviewers have said that this mouse is too small--but I find it perfect for my small to medium hands. Not too small at all. Set up is a breeze. You simply go to the bluetooth setting on your mac, go to discover device, click mouse, and voila~ it's done--it's simple as that.

This also comes with a set of Duracell batteries (not cheap generic ones) which is a great added feature. No messy wires, no cheap "plasticky" feel and perfect size at a decent price. I actually found one for a little over $40 on ebay (sorry amazon). I'd highly recommend this mouse for anyone who's looking for the perfect mouse for their mac notebook. I believe it works just as well with other laptops, but this is absolutely perfect for macs. I'm glad I decided to invest $20 more dollars for a better quality mouse.
