I purchased this Mouse for my Apple Mini. I needed a Mouse with scroll and tilt for Mac, sadly I have a few issues with my Mini finding the Mouse. It sometimes takes up to minute to find it, other times a few seconds. At times I have to flip it over and hit the "connect" button on bottom. It also does not show battery strength within Mac's operation system, although, that is expected from a none Apple product. Hardware for test: Apple Mini dual core, OS v10.5 Leopard. This unit does work better with my Dell Notebook, Latitude D620, built more for XP it guess.

I downloaded the latest logitech program from their site (I'd heard nightmares about the Mac versions). It seems to run perfect and allows for additional control over special button assignments etc.

I had read that some people have issue with the "sleep" mode of the mouse and it taking a second to wake. I am a graphic designer and found the hesitation to be extremely minimal and well worth it for the excellent battery life (it also uses AA batteries, which is a huge bonus over AAA).

This mouse is great! It goes perfectly with my white MacBook and it integrates really well with OS X. My favorite feature is that you can set it up to do things with Dashboard & Expose which is really useful. I bought this for my MacBook based on the reviews here. So far I've been disappointed with the pointer precision. I have not used any other Bluetooth mouse, but I do have a reference for comparison, which is the Microsoft USB wireless notebook 3000 mouse. I didn't like the dongle that sticks out and consumes one USB slot, so I decided to get a Bluetooth one, but in comparison, the smoothness of pointer movement of this Logitech mouse is not up to par with the Microsoft mouse. It's getting to be quite annoying actually, as for me that's the single most important attribute of a mouse, and the motion on this one is noticeably jerky.

If you're on a Mac you can test this yourself by using the built-in trackpad, which is perfectly smooth. Slide your finger on it to move the mouse pointer, slow enough to see how it moves. Then use this mouse at about the same speed. If you don't see the "jerkiness" of this mouse, then I guess you're not as sensitive as I am about this issue.
