I have to say that this mouse is mediocre. Windows warned me 5 times during installation that the software wasn't tested for Windows XP and that I shouldn't install it. I had to, because the mouse wouldn't work without it. I have configured the mouse to my specs and it jumps all over the screen at times....very weird. I have a smooth mousepad, same one that I used for my previous optical mouse, but it doesn't work as well. My previous one was a cheapo that was made my DECOLOR, which I don't think is in business anymore...I didn't have to install any drivers or software and it worked much better than this one. The scrolling is not smooth like my other, maybe I'll get used to it. Next time, I go to a store and test any mouse I buy.Get more detail about Logitech Wheel Mouse Optical (Black Limited Edition).
