Where To Buy Logitech V220 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks (Candy Stripe)

The mouse is great and works exactly as it's advertised. I'm a big fan of logitech so I was excited when I found this little guy for $10 at Target--except for the fact that the only color they had left was pink. The only thing that confused me about the unit was that every time I put the USB stick in the dock and then pulled it out to use it later, the power switch was turned to "on". Turns out that the USB stick locks in to the mouse with two grooves on both sides and another towards the bottom tip, which grabs the power switch as it locks in. That groove slides the power switch up and to the right turning the mouse to the "on" position. Thought that was an interesting find. They may want to consider switching the position of the bottom groove so the battery doesn't get drained while the mouse is not in use. Again, awesome product but somewhat annoyed that I can't use the USB storage on the mouse without draining the battery. Microsoft Mobility Pack

As said in the title, I really liked the camera. I use it for camera-chat with my family. Everybody likes the view. I don't know very much technical details but supports high resolution efficiently with bright and clear view. When we talk about the mouse, ergonomics of it is fine I think. It's not just one of those too small laptop mice, while it's mobile enough to carry within the laptop case(i.e. size and weight are OK). The problem about that is sometimes it cannot follow my moves just after I plug it. I don't think it's about battery power, anyhow I feel more comfortable with cord mouse. The nice detail about the mouse software is the zooming tool with a button. So if you decide to by use these items by installing the driver in the CD to benefit from extras. After all I am satisfied because great price makes this packet a good choice.Get more detail about Microsoft Mobility Pack.

Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Apple Mac - Black (910-000673) Review

Despite Logitech's advertisement that this product works with Apple products, I strongly suggest that anyone with a Mac look elsewhere. First, there is poor/missing documentation about the software. The included disc contains nothing which allows the mouse to work with a Mac and permit customization of functions. One has to somehow learn that the solution is to download "Logitech Control Center" from Logitech's website. The second problem is that this software does not work either -- at least for me, and on three computers, and after multiple suggestions from Logitech tech support. So yes, the mouse works, but the cursor is weird, speed cannot be controlled, and buttons cannot be customized or made to work. The mouse defaults to the Apple driver (same with the keyboard, which works better but not perfectly with the built-in software) and therefore can be said to "work", but it's clearly not what I paid a lot of money for. The problem is that the LCC cannot find the attached devices, and no one appears to know how to make it work. It may not help that we are running that latest version of Snow Leopard -- but that is not an acceptable excuse. Otherwise the mouse is well-constructed of quality materials, comfortable, works on any surface, and is loaded with functions (if only one could use them). If everything else did work, my ranking would be 3 or 4 stars, as I do not like the fact that the receiver has to be plugged into the computer itself -- it apparently will not work on a hub. And with one each -- for the mouse and the keyboard, it's 2 USB slots I would prefer not to give up. My old S530 combo from Logitech was superior -- what happened to that model or its update? Have not heard back from tech support lately, so I will keep trying.... As many before me have noted, if it were possible my ranking would have been zero stars. No, minus 2 stars.Get more detail about Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Apple Mac - Black (910-000673).

Logitech V450 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Silver) Top Quality

This is a great wireless mouse, but the mouse itself is a little small. I have an average-sized hand, and the mouse should be about 0.75" longer to allow me to place my entire palm on the top of the mouse and still have my fingers in the right place to click the buttons. The USB receiver is very small, allowing the user to leave the USB receiver in the laptop and place it in a case or carry it around. This is a great, compact, portable mouse. But if you don't need the portability, look for something else. Get more detail about Logitech V450 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks (Silver).

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Milk Chocolate Brown [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] This instant

Typical Microsoft--quality and true plug and play. Simply plug the usb stick into an open usb port and the mouse was instantly recognized. Has the typical right/left key, a center scroll wheel that you can lean over to the left or right for side scrolling, and a center key (push down on the wheel) for magnification.

Now only if the mouse keys were programable. Also wished the usb stick was not so large. The stick hangs out around 2". My Logitech sticks out 1". I am using the mouse on a netbook, so the pretruding stick really looks big. Also wished the mouse would have one addl key to the left body like my wireless 3000. Can use this extra key to go back a page...very convenient.

Otherwise a solid and reliable mouse. Accurate tracking on pratctically any surface. No comparision within this price range; other competing models are cheezy. Get more detail about Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Milk Chocolate Brown [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging].

Razer DeathAdder Mac 3G Gaming Mouse Right now

The DeathAdder is a great mouse for the price, but it's not as great as I understood from the product description. I wondered how so many features could be offered for such a low price, and now I know. (I use the DeathAdder with a Mac, OSX 10.6, so some details may differ on Windows.)

The DeathAdder's "programmable" buttons are limited to choosing from a hard-coded list of keyboard strokes (12 function keys, 8 cursor control keys, escape, space, tab, enter, and delete) and key combinations (cut, copy, paste, undo, redo, quit, switch application, minimize window and two Mac-specific combinations). You can't even set the buttons to act as any other key or key combination, much less program a menu item or sequence of keys.

Also, the DeathAdder's ability to change DPI settings is limited to switching between 800, 1200, and 1600. I wanted a setting below 800 for increased precision, and something I read had given me the mistaken idea that I could switch between 3 user-programmed DPI settings.

Apart from those disappointments, my first 24 hours show the DeathAdder to be an excellent product. I expect to use the DeathAdder as my primary mouse for the foreseeable future, but if I had it to do over again I would buy a more expensive -- and more programmable -- mouse.Get more detail about Razer DeathAdder Mac 3G Gaming Mouse.
