Dell Bluetooth Optical Wireless Mouse - DH956 (Mouse Only, no Receiver) Right now

I wanted to write a review of this mouse after 3 years of use. To start I dont like Dell to much, but this was beging sold rebuilt on ebay a few years ago and I couldent pass up the price for bluetooth. It will link right to my computer with no problems at all and will stay added, even in between battery changes. The battery life for a wireless is insane infact I can go 3-4 months with it though normal use and a month or so if im playing allot of games. Of course this is not a gamming mouse and so by no means shall I compaire it to one. I have droped this mouse well over 10 times with no dammage it always seems to be falling from somthing. Usally that is my fault leaving it laying around.No transmiter needed if you have built in bluetooth less parts to loose or break. It very egernomic on the hand and I never feel ocward using it. I use it on allot of surfaces. the laser will pick up on leather, cloth, wood, carpet, Mouse pads. just not glass. I Would buy this mouse agian and agian with no hasitation thou I probley will never need to since this thigs works perfect. Knock on wood.

The Mighty Mouse looks great. That's all it has going for it. I've had the mouse for about a year and it's practically non-functional. The worse part is the "revolutionary" 360-degree scroll wheel. I have to clean it at least monthly, otherwise it stops working. Sometimes it stops scrolling up, sometimes down.

Apple recommends running a damp cloth over the ball--this barely works. Instead, you have to take the whole mouse apart (not for the squeamish) and clean four tiny magnet-like screws that interact with the scroll ball. Not user-friendly at all (and the way Apple has headed with its hardware, that's not surprising).

Low Price River's Edge Optical Mouse Firetiger

I gave this as a Christmas gift off someone's wish list and he loves it. It is really colorful as depicted and he has had compliments on it from visitors to his office. It is rather large but it is perfect for his large hand. If I had ordered it, it would have been way too big for me.

If you've used a Mighty Mouse for your Mac, getting used to this appliance is quite a chore. It's functional - I'll give it that, but it simply does not stack up to the tried-and-true Mighty Mouse. The laser part seems to work as well as other mice I've had before. The tracking is a bit touchy especially at slow speeds doing small movements, as compared to Targus laser mouse. What irks me is the shape of the mouse. It is hourglass shaped, but the narrowest part is situated about 2/3 towards the rear of the mouse. When I try to hold the mouse towards the front where the buttons and the scroll wheel are, my grip gradually slides back to the narrowest part. The plastic is very, very slippery and hard to get a stationary grip like others with rubbery grip areas. Lastly, the laser eye is also situated towards the back of the mouse, which makes the cursor's movements "fishtail" when the mouse is operated by holding it towards the front. Very annoying.
