If we hadn't tossed the receipt away, I'd be taking this product back to the store. If my husband is using his computer (with a different brand mouse), my curser moves all over the screen and clicks on random things. Basically, I am unable to use it at all when my husband is on his PC. If there is a way to change the frequency, I haven't found it. Attempted to contact the Microsoft support, but can't find a product ID on the mouse. The only number there is not the right format.

Despite being titled "Bluetooth Wireless" this mouse is not capble of connecting directly via a Bluetooth interface. The mouse is only fuctional using the included USB dongle. Amazon needs to fix the description, it is wrong (fixed).

If you are looking for a standard USB wireless mouse, I would still look else where. The overall construction of this mouse is poor. It has a cheap plastic feel to it which results in a very clunky glide even over the smoothest surfaces. You can get a whole lot more mouse for the money.

I should say that for a mouse under 20 this is the best mouse I have owned. It is not heavy, moves very smooth and has a nice feel to it. I would say it is better than any other Logitech mouse under 20 I have ever owned. The mouse comes with a CD containing the software for the tilt-wheel operation.

The most surprising thing for me was that the LED they use in this mouse is emitting invisible light (probably in the infrared) unlike any other optical mouse I have ever seen which emit bright red light. The only illuminating part is the small button on top meant for changing the mouse speed but that is very dim pleasant green light.

It is true that the tilt wheel is not very easy to use because you have to press quite hard to make a right or left click and the wheel is sitting quite low too but that is a minor problem for me since I probably wouldn't use this feature anyway.

This product is not worth 12$. I just got one and was supremely disappointed with the design. First of all if try it corded it never works. Not on windows, not on Mac. So connecting it via included USB cable does not work at all. Then before trying out the wireless dongle, I put it inside the compartment in the mouse. Now it would not come out ! No matter how much I push or pull or do anything. It is locked inside. So my only option now is to disassemble the mouse and get the dongle out and see if it would work or not. Buying iHome FastTrack Laser Mouse (Red)

I'm always on the look out for nice red mouse and, while this mouse is kind of a mix between red and black, I still wanted to give it a try.

I'm upgrading from an optimal mouse, a nice looking but sadly lower quality offering that I also found on Amazon. That said, moving to a laser mouse is definitely a step in the right direction. The accuracy gain is very, very tangible and I absolutely love it. Takes a little getting used to, but it's a nice upgrade either way.

The DPI button to speed up the mouse tracking is also nice. I can see how it would help gaming applications, but I don't really game with it so that feature has no meaning for me. In fact, as far as gaming mice go, you definitely should stay away from this if you're looking for extra buttons because it has none. I, on the other hand, never wanted extra buttons for this application (my day to day stuff) so I was glad to find this mouse. I get the good looks, the laser accuracy and none of the extra stuff that I don't need. The price is also pretty good.

Definitely check this mouse out if, like me, you're in the market for a red-ish laser mouse for day to day stuff. For gaming, however, I'd avoid it. Also, I saw another reviewer comment on the weight. They are correct, this mouse is pretty light. I don't actually care about the weight for my purpose, so it's not a deal breaker for me. If it is for you, I'd suggesting looking for something else.
