Shop For Evoluent Vertical Mouse Optical

Some people have noted elsewhere that the Evoluent Vertical Mouse can develop a problem with the scroll wheel. The problem occurs when the rubber ring separates from the metal part of the wheel. The ring moves under your finger, but the wheel itself does not. When that happens, scrolling becomes maddeningly erratic.

This is easy to fix with a couple of drops of gel-type superglue. Use your fingernail to pry up a part of the rubber, and put a drop between the rubber and the wheel. Rotate the wheel, and repeat in a few more spots. Then let it dry for a bit.

I've not had any problems with the driver. I suspect that the problems that others have had arise from conflicts with other stuff on their systems. Might be possible to work around, with a clean install of the operating system. Not difficult, but can be time-consuming.

Other than the mouse wheel problem, this mouse has worked very well. Get more detail about Evoluent Vertical Mouse Optical.

Pocketmouse Pro Wireless Laser USB Mouse

The cursor movements are slightly jumpy and erratic. Replacing the batteries was frustrating, as the latch to open it frequently was jammed and difficult to open. I ended up replacing it simply for that alone.Get more detail about Pocketmouse Pro Wireless Laser USB Mouse.

HP Wireless Comfort Mobile Mouse (Ruby) Review

When traveling last week, I was trying to work on my laptop in prep for class I was teaching. I stopped and purchased this HP Ruby Mouse (wish I could have ordered it from Amazon and saved $10) to help me on the road. I found several things of great value:
1) The receiver that plugs into the usb port was so much better than the one I had been using. It is so small that I do not really need to unplug it when traveling. It doesn't "poke" out like the other one. 2) This mouse has some distance to it. I used it to present to my class a PowerPoint presentation and could walk away from the laptop, click the button (while holding it in my hand with out a table and up to 10 feet away) and advance the slide... very handy! 3) The very cool color. I refer to it now as my mouse with "racing strips." Get more detail about HP Wireless Comfort Mobile Mouse (Ruby).

i-rocks Superman Optical Mouse (Silver) This instant

I PURCHASED THIS MOUSE TO REPLACE A GE DUAL SCROLL 4 BUTTON MODEL THAT DIED.
AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE THIS I-ROCKS MOUSE ROCKS! TRACKING IS
FAST AND ACCURATE. EVEN THOUGH I ONLY HAVE 5" WIDE MOUSING AREA I CAN EASILY MOVE TO ANYWHERE ON MY 17" WIDE SCREEN. ALL OF THE 4 BUTTONS RESPOND EASILY WITH DISTINCT CLICK.THE SIDE PAGE FORWARD AND BACK BUTTONS ARE MY FAVORITE FEATURE SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO MOVE THE MOUSE UP TO LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE PAGE TO NAVIGATE TO THE PREVIOUS PAGE OR PAGES TO REVIEW INFORMATION. I'VE USED IT 3 MONTHS NOW AND STILL WORKSLIKE NEW! THE DESIGN FITS THE HAND NICELY FOR RIGHT HAND USE. THE SIZE IS MEDIUM, NOT TOO BIG FOR A SMALL WOMAN OR TOO SMALL FOR A MAN. THE BOTTOM GLIDE PADS ALLOW EASY MOVEMENT ON A CLOTH/FOAM MOUSE PAD,BUT STAYS PUT WHERE YOU
LEAVE IT. I'M RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMIUM AND INSTALLATION WAS A BREEZE.-
JUST PLUG IT IN! NO SOFTWARE OR DRIVERS TO INSTALL!Get more detail about i-rocks Superman Optical Mouse (Silver).

Micro Innovations Micro Comfort PS/2 Mouse PD39P Immediately

I purchased one of these a long time ago from Circuit City, and was not pleased. Not only is it small and barely ergonomic, it has no scrollwheel and is an ugly color. Beige is something that might have looked good back in the 90s when all computers were that color, but today, it clashes horribly with the blacks, silvers, and aluminums of today's PCs.Get more detail about Micro Innovations Micro Comfort PS/2 Mouse PD39P.

Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse (Black) Best Quality

I have owned this mouse for about 6 months now and have played plenty of games on it. Overall the construction is great except the feet have started to come off on the edges (and yes I DO use an adequately sized mouse pad). There is no sidescrolling on the wheel which is another minus for me. My main problem is that the mouse has recently developed a double-clicking issue where I click only once yet the mouse outputs two clicks. Needless to say this is extremely annoying and intolerable on any mouse. Yes I do play a lot of games where clicking is required but my Logitech G5 has lasted around 2 years now and is still going strong.

In my experience Microsoft mice always junk out after a couple months... My advice is to get a Logitech instead.Get more detail about Microsoft Habu Laser Gaming Mouse (Black).

Road Mice Wireless Ford GT Series Red with White Stripes Mouse Get it now!

If you love the Ford GT and want to have one on your desk that doesn't just sit there, then this is a good product. If you are looking for a great mouse in an interesting shape, then you might want to look elsewhere.

The shape is a great replica of the Ford GT shape, and the paint, markings and detail are all quite nice.

But, there are some issues regarding the operation that result in the 2-star rating. Most significant is lack of range. Paperwork promises ~1.5 meters, but on my desk I could not get it to work even within ~40cm. I had to put the receiver within about 20cm (6-8 in.) to get it to work properly. This could be an issue if your USB port is not near your mouse space.

Contrary to the pictures, the headlights only light when you click, not remaining on all the time as the advertising leads you to believe. So the options are 'off' and 'flash lights when clicking', not 'on' and 'off' as the paperwork states.

The accuracy is fine and wheel movement is as expected. As a mouse, it works fine (when in range).

The paint stripe on the hood wore off after only 2 weeks of use, so it may not be the most durable decals or decorations...

It has pads that the mouse rests on, instead of riding on the wheels. This makes the mouse movement very smooth. But there are 4 pads and on my mouse they are slightly uneven, so it rocks some when you right-click (like an uneven table at a cafe). Not a big issue, but picky people may find this a reason to complain.Get more detail about Road Mice Wireless Ford GT Series Red with White Stripes Mouse.

Visiontek XG6 3D Gamer Mouse 3D High Resolution Laser Mouse Buy Now

GAMES:
This mouse is somewhat good for games, but in a FPS game, like Quke, I feel like it's better to use keyboard, unless you are chatting while moving.

3D model:
for a 3D modeling apilication, it only support 3D max and SketchUp, I use Rhino a lot, but seems not working. The in-box driver doen't support SketchUp, you should uninstall it, and use this one instead:http://sandiotech.com/downloads.php and then install the plug-in for sketchUp: http://sandiotech.com/downloads/index.php?act=category&id=18 it take me several hours to search for the solution. You can orbit the viewpoint, and you can also move selected objects in the model, and you can change the speed. They claim to support AutoCAD, but not preforming in my computer, maybe I am using AutoCAD 2010, too new that they don't support.

the mouse works very well in Google Earth and Bing Maps, but do not support the newest bing map version. seems the lastest update of its driver was in 2007, I doubt they are not developing newer versions since, it's almost 2010!

Feeling:
Size is VERY large, I can expect it to be larte since there are 3 extra joysticks to clog into the body, but it's larger than I expected, perhaps the largest mouse I have ever seen, looks like a BIG FOOT. Far larger than the MX Revolution. So make a second consideration if you have a tiny hand. Obviously not for girls.

the surface and texture looks and feels somewhat cheap, and the driver interface seems a little amateur. it's hard to control the right joystick in my hand, maybe it's because my hands are small.

Mac issue:
Mac OS or Linux are, simply, not supported.

Overall, first, you must using Windows, then, If you are playing a 3D game and wanna to free your left hand, this may be a good choice, if you need assign tons of mouse bottoms to make shortcuts, that's it, if you use SketchUp or 3D MAX, a lot, this may be a good choice. otherwise, use a conventional mouse or think about some real professional 3D navigators which is not just some Add-ins to the 2D mouse. Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Pro, K72242 Order Now

Wanted to upgrade from optical. Good news is ergomics are great; tracking is excellent, very pleased with that. Only had it a month so can not comment on reliability or battery life. Also, some minor interference (not bad) from my 2.4GHz wireless router. The bad is that I have Windows 7 and Kensington does not support it. Their latest software was written for XP in 2006, yes 2006. I contacted them to ask if they were going to support Win7 and they said maybe down the road, check the website periodically. I told them that if I knew the buttons would be useless I would never have bought it in the first place. They offered me a full refund. I have not returned it yet because I actually like the darn thing!!!Get more detail about Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless Pro, K72242.

Low Price Cyber Snipa S.w.a.t. Mouse

This mouse works great. Feels good in the hand, easy to use for extended periods of time. On the fly dpi switching works great in FPS games for sniper rifles. The thumb buttons are a little clustered together, but overall easy to use. The cyber sniper interface is easy to use and the programmable buttons are a nice touch. Onboard memory is also a nice touch, though i have never used the feature myself. Mouse tracks well, and is solidly built. Very nice!Get more detail about Cyber Snipa S.w.a.t. Mouse.
