Shop For Verbatim Optical Mini Travel Mouse (49003)

After using the mini-mouse for a while I will agree with most reviewers that it does a great job for its size. I have not had any problems with drifting at all, and because I do not use it for extended periods of time the small size has not been bothersome or fatiguing for my hand. It is the perfect accessory for my netbook as I am not used to using touch-pads at all, and it's size is perfect for travel.Get more detail about Verbatim Optical Mini Travel Mouse (49003).

Pro Click Mobile Bluetooth Wireless Notebook Mouse for Mac/PC--Spice Red Top Quality

I set up my grade school daughter on an older laptop with Ubuntu 9.10 Linux. I used Linux, obviously, so she can't get in trouble and mess up the computer with adware/spyware/malware/viruses. My daughter always preferred to borrow my wife's corded mouse when she used her laptop, as the trackpad is just not that comfortable. Corded mice and laptops (actually anything plugged into USB ports) make me nervous, especially with kids. I can just imagine the plugs/dongles getting banged, and having a USB port broken, or worse. As luck would have it, even though the laptop is older (IBM R50), it has built in Bluetooth. So I bought this mouse because it is Bluetooth AND red. (Girls usually want red). Ubuntu recognized the mouse right out of the box and worked immediately. No drivers required. No muss, no fuss. This mouse is just the right size for smaller hands. Top side of the mouse has a soft, matte, feel. I am giving it not quite a full 5 stars, because the bottom side of the mouse has a shiny, toy-like look. If the bottom side was perhaps a different texture, I would give a full 5 star rating. If you are running Ubuntu Linux, I highly recommend this mouse.Get more detail about Pro Click Mobile Bluetooth Wireless Notebook Mouse for Mac/PC--Spice Red.

Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 - White This instant

Microsoft Mobile mouse 4000 is best wireless mouse I have ever used. I purchased mine from an OfficeMax store in Brooklyn but today it stopped working. When I went to investigate why the mouse wasn't working I discovered that the wireless receiver (the part you plug-in to your pc) was extremely hot to the touch, at least 120°F. Removing it and placing it in a different usb port caused it to heat up again. So now I am stuck with an otherwise wonderful (wonderful because it makes less noise while scrolling and clicking than the Logitech V450 mouse) that I can't use.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Creme Brulee [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] Buy Now

Typical Microsoft--quality and true plug and play. Simply plug the usb stick into an open usb port and the mouse was instantly recognized. Has the typical right/left key, a center scroll wheel that you can lean over to the left or right for side scrolling, and a center key (push down on the wheel) for magnification.

Now only if the mouse keys were programable. Also wished the usb stick was not so large. The stick hangs out around 2". My Logitech sticks out 1". I am using the mouse on a netbook, so the pretruding stick really looks big. Also wished the mouse would have one addl key to the left body like my wireless 3000. Can use this extra key to go back a page...very convenient.

Otherwise a solid and reliable mouse. Accurate tracking on pratctically any surface. No comparision within this price range; other competing models are cheezy. Get more detail about Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - Creme Brulee [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging].

Wacom Intuos3 Five-button Mouse - mouse ( ZC100 ) Order Now

I use a 12x9 tablet (which takes up a lot of desk space), so it's really inefficient for me to use a separate mouse. I do like the fact that it's like having a wireless mouse with no batteries required, and I can switch to my pen when it's time to work on graphics. However, like others have noted here, the build quality isn't great and after a bit of normal use you will begin to notice some problems. After 18 months of normal use, mine occasionally fails to register a click and I would say 7-10% of the time it DOUBLE clicks when I click once (which is infuriating in its own right). The buttons are starting to feel "loose" and the microfiber pad is pretty much destroyed. I've taken this thing apart and installed new drivers several times to try to get it working. It's really annoying how I'm probably going to have to buy yet another in a year or 2.

My $10 Microsoft mouse that I bought 7 years ago works perfectly fine even after being kicked around in my laptop bag yet the $400 Wacom unit fails.Get more detail about Wacom Intuos3 Five-button Mouse - mouse ( ZC100 ).

Kensington 72121 Mouse-in-a-Box Optical Elite USB Mouse (PC/Mac) Decide Now

Excellent all-around. I wanted a programmable multi-button mouse - comfortable and reliable - and got it. Comfortable, the 4 buttons are programmable for common one touch functions, and functions efficiently and cleanly. Scroll wheel is adjustable and works well. I've tried other mice - at work, other computers - and haven't found another I like anywhere near as much -- and most cost multiples of this one. My only wish is an identical mouse that's wireless -- maybe it exists and I've missed it. But for a wired mouse I can't imagine one I'd like better. Kensington got it right.Get more detail about Kensington 72121 Mouse-in-a-Box Optical Elite USB Mouse (PC/Mac).
